Here’s a short excerpt of the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra performing Gershwin’s American in Paris in a concert, recorded April 30th, 2014.
In the fall of 2011, bandleader and friend Matt Kern asked me to record his band, Big Band Boom!, during a live performance at the Gallery Cabaret in Chicago. I laid down the tracks and Matt did the final mastering. You have to hear this group live sometime — every musician is top-notch and the band simply kicks ass!
